Overview

During this course you will consider bird legislation and what this means to you, how to identify different bird populations and how to proof and control. Once you have paid for this course, you will be given access to online learning for 2 weeks before the 1-day classroom course.

 • Control techniques (including trapping, air rifles plus despatch techniques
 • Proofing techniques (including netting, bird wire, spikes, bird gel, electric systems and solar panel roofing.

Upon completion of the training, and when you are ready, you will then be provided with access to your Certificate in Bird Management examination. This is an online examination which assesses your skills and knowledge.  The assessment is a 30 minute, multiple-choice and scenario-based examination.
